Community News: HOA Meeting Info, Facebook Page, Committees and the Community Survey

Hi Neighbors,

Hope everyone is well and having a great month. Please find below updates, news and information on several topics of interest to the Community:

HOA Board Meeting Info: Tuesday, May 25th, 2021

Here is the latest regarding the next HOA Board meeting. This month, the meeting will again take place at El Dorado Park. It will either be in the tented area or the open grass area next to the tents. Anybody working there should be able to guide you in the right direction once you arrive.

Here is the information you will need to attend the Regular (Open) Session:

Date: May 25th, 2021

Time: 3:45pm

Location: 2400 N. Studebaker Rd, Long Beach, CA 90815

An official notice will be posted on the billboards at the beginning of Spinnaker Bay Dr and the Regatta area 4 days prior to the meeting. At some point prior to our meeting, I will have the full agenda and can post a link right below.

Next month, the Board of Directors is hoping to be able to return to the Yacht Club and adjust the time of the meetings so that more people that may be at work, would have the opportunity to attend.

Community Survey

By now, everyone should have received our community survey, either online or via mail. We'd like to thank everyone that has answered the 10 questions and completed the survey! Your opinions will help the Board make more informed decisions.

The average time to complete the survey is less than 2 1/2 minutes. If you have not yet completed our survey, you can do so by clicking on "Take the Community Survey" below:

For those that mailed in your survey, your answers will be tabulated and combined with the results from the online version. The Board will publish the final results in a few weeks once the mail-in surveys have been mailed back and received. As a reminder, we ask that you only complete one survey per household please. Thanks again for your participation!

Facebook Page

We have a private Spinnaker Bay Facebook Page created and administered by Spinnaker Bay Homeowners -- where you have the ability to connect with other neighbors, ask for recommendations, post items for sale, etc. There are currently 133 active members.

It's a private page, so you will have to request to join. You can click on the link below that says "Spinnaker Bay Facebook Page," select "Join Group." The first time you do so, it will ask you to enter your street name (not address). Once verified, you will be added to the group and able to interact with other Spinnaker Bay Residents.
