Monthly Happy Hours, HOA Board Meeting & Water Main Replacement Update

Hi Spinnaker Bay Neighbors,

Looks like we have some great weather in store for the next few days. A perfect opportunity to enjoy an afternoon catching up with neighbors at our monthly Happy Hour.

This month's Happy Hour will take place this afternoon (Thursday, April 20th) from 5-7pm on the main greenbelt between Empire Landing and Blue Cavern Pt. So, grab a chair, maybe an umbrella and your favorite beverage and come join us for a fun neighborhood get together. During our Happy Hour this afternoon, we will also have lawn games for you to enjoy. Hope to see you all there!

As a reminder, our monthly neighborhood Happy Hours will be the 3rd Thursday of every month, from now through October.

April HOA Board Meeting

This month's HOA Board Meeting is set to take place next Tuesday, April 25th. The Regular Session of the meeting should begin at approximately 5pm and will be held at the Long Beach Yacht Club. Make sure to check the bulletin boards near the entrance of Spinnaker Bay along Spinnaker Bay Drive and towards the back of our neighborhood in the Regatta section for more details and the items on this month's agenda.

Water Main Replacement Project: Phase 1 Update

As many of you have seen, phase 1 of our water main replacement project is coming along and according to the Long Beach Water Department is anticipated to be completed by July.

Many of the homes in phase 1 have already been connected to the new water main, and the Water Department Crew will be finishing up the last of theses connections to the remaining homes over the course of the next month.

Once this work is complete, the Water Department will be replacing the concrete roundabouts and crosswalks on our private streets. These will be replaced one half at a time to allow access to and from your home will this process is underway. After these have been completed, the Water Department will be repairing the areas of asphalt on our streets that were damaged or dug up during the project.
