Vaccine Update: Long Beach Vaccine Appointment Portal "VaxLB" Now Available
Updated: Mar 27, 2022

Hi Everyone,
I hope by now, many of you that are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine have either received your first dose or have appointments to do so. For those of us still not eligible or who were not able to secure an appointment, this week the City of Long Beach launched a new vaccine appointment portal called VaxLB.
The portal is intended for Long Beach residents to make appointments as they become available. It also provides important information regarding phases and eligibility tiers including eligibility requirements and when you can expect to get vaccinated if your are under the age of 65.
As vaccine demand is high, appointments can fill up quickly. You may need to check the portal multiple times before you are able to get an appointment. Once a batch of appointments fills up, the following message is displayed on the VaxLB portal:
"We appreciate your patience. Demand for vaccines is high, but we are adding new appointments all the time based on available vaccine. If you were not able to sign up today, please check this page again soon so you can sign up when new appointments are available. We update with new links every 1-2 days."
It's probably a good idea to check back first thing in the mornings and sign up for notifications on the portal. As Long Beach has done over the past couple of weeks, they may email you an appointment link directly when it’s your turn.
